James Swan, III, 25, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin January 17, 1998 to Frank Swan, Sr. and Christine Peltonen.

In the months before he passed, James was living the life he always wanted. He was traveling the country, meeting new people, and making a name for his new small business. James enjoyed working hard, but always knew when to lay back and relax. He had an infectious way of making the people around him laugh. Those who knew him well would say that he was the most supportive and loyal friend, brother, and uncle. Above all, James enjoyed making lifelong memories with his friends and siblings, and most importantly, he enjoyed spoiling and spending time with his niece, Leah. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Swan.

James is survived by his parents, Frank Swan, Sr. and Christine Peltonen; his sisters, Brittany Swan and Cheyenne Morrow; brothers Franklin Swan, Jr. and Hayden Swan; his nieces, Leah Swan-Eastman and Athena Swan; his nephew Branson Swan-Krueger; several aunts and uncles as well and several cousins. He is also survived by his best friends, Jacob Kotte and Steven Lessard.
