Jay Wayne Mosley

Jay Wayne Mosley, age 51, of Amarillo met Grandma in Heaven on September 6, 2020. Jay was born on July 24, 1969, and lived a life full of love and laughter.

Anyone who has ever had a conversation with Jay will tell you that half of his vocabulary was movie quotes and song lyrics, and he never failed to get a laugh out of anyone.

Jay had a true servant’s heart. After decades in the service industry, Jay touched the lives of so many people and will be missed by all who knew him. But more than that, Jay loved his family more than anything.

He was a loving and dedicated son. His three children were the light of his life, and his grandkids were his world.

Jay was proceeded in death by his loving Grandma, Jonnie Lee Hall, and Grandad Lyman Hall – and what a glorious reunion that was.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, John and Jolyn Michie, three children Jacqulyn, Kollin and wife Jocelyn, Kayla and husband Bill, three Grandkids, Marlee, Lawton, and Levi, numerous uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly, and numerous friends who will remember and love him for years to come.
