Jeannie Gay Walton, 77, of Amarillo passed away on June 18, 2025. Born on March 3, 1948, she was the eldest of three children born to Ola Inez (Burnside) and Virgil Elvin “Tex” Walton in Amarillo.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Virgil Tex Walton.
She is survived by her brother Rife Clarence Walton of Aztec, NM; three children, daughters Pamela Walton of Lubbock, TX; Misty Stephens (Craig) of Bangs, TX; RanDee Walton of Amarillo, TX.; four grandchildren, Kellie Marlow, Brayton Marlow, Kara Walton, and Hannah Walton, three great grandchildren Liam, Acelynn, Bailor, and one more on the way.

She was always up for telling a story or giving advice all those days and nights in Granbury.
