Jessie M. Watson, age 38, of Lubbock Texas went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born August 6, 1986, in Lubbock Texas.

He went to Frenship High School in Wolfforth Texas. Jessie had a career as a general laborer. He was a member of Trinity Church in Lubbock Texas. He enjoyed being at the softball fields watching his daughters play or watching his son call the ball. He enjoyed fun at the lake with family and friends. He loved to laugh and was such a jokester.

Jessie was preceded in death by his parents Silvestre Garcia, Sr. and Patricia Watson Garcia; brother Joe Garcia; paternal grandparents Jose and Aurelia Garcia; maternal grandparents Bill and Nell Watson; twin Godson’s Richard, III and Noah Montoya, and brother-in-law Anthony Valenzuela.

Jessie is survived by his wife Marianna Watson, of Lubbock; two daughters Maria and Patience Watson, both of Lubbock; son Jesse “Noel” Watson, of Lubbock; seven brothers, Joe Michael Watson, of Lubbock, Jorge Garcia, of Elizabeth Colorado, Robert Garcia, of Mason Texas, Silvestre Garcia, Jr. and Estevan Garcia, both of Lockney Texas; Francisco Garcia, of Sherman Texas, and Ernesto Garcia of New Braunfels Texas; six sisters Dalanda Minor, of Uvalde Texas twin Jessica Watson of California, Maria E. Gonzales, of Mason Texas, Martha Torrez and Maria A. Bosquez, both of Plainview, and Bertha Garcia, of Burlington Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday January 10, 2024, at Trinity Church in the Chapel, 7002 Canton Ave, Lubbock, TX 79413.

He was a loving husband, father and friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
