Joe Dale Lee, 64, of Dalhart, Texas passed unexpectedly in Lubbock, Texas on Monday morning, December 19, 2022.
A graveside memorial will take place at a later date in the Cookson family cemetery located near Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Joe was a man of various occupational talents. He had a keen eye and a vast knowledge of antique oddities and collectibles. Joe’s favorite past-time was hunting for “treasures” at flea markets, garage sales and estate sales.
Joe served in the United States Army and after basic training was stationed in Germany.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee; mother, Barbara Brockwell; father, George Lee; a younger brother, Donnie Lee and a nephew, Robert Snethen.
He is survived by his son, Damien Lee and wife, Jacqueline, of OK; his stepmother, Janice Rozell, of OK; a sister, Terrie Gerber and husband, Kenneth, of Dalhart, TX; a brother, Ronnie Lee, of Dalhart, TX; a stepsister, Leslie Taylor and husband James of OK; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Joe is also survived by an aunt, Sue Bryant, of OK; an uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Carolyn Brockwell, of TX, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I am so sorry to read about Joe Dale.
I know you probably do not remember me. We lived across the street from
each other as kids on Main Street in
Sand Springs OK.
The last time I saw Joe Dale was in the late 90s.
I don’t know if you will see this, but if so you are welcome to call me and catch up with our lives.
