Jose Antonio Rodriguez, “Pepito” 57, de Tijuana, Baja California, falleció el 16 de octubre, 2023, en Amarillo. El nacio el 10 de abril, 1966, en Mexico.

Nuestro padre luchó mucho y duro a través de muchas enfermedades a lo largo de los años. Al igual que lidió con todas las experiencias de la vida, nuestro padre manejó su enfermedad con fuerza, gracia y persistencia. Quería pasar el mayor tiempo posible con sus seres queridos, siempre creando recuerdos, siempre haciendo reír a alguien. Nuestro padre era una persona memorable dondequiera que íbamos, alguien parecía acercarse a él y saludarlo. Siempre se aseguró de expresar su amor por sus hijos y especialmente por sus nietos. Siempre aligeraba el ambiente con su sonrisa y su sentido del humor único.

Le preceden en la muerte su padre José Ángel Rodríguez; su madre Elena Aldaba, y sus hermanos Reynaldo Rodríguez y Víctor Rodríguez.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Luz Santos; sus hijas, Candy Pérez y su esposo José, Dayana Clifton y su esposo Barrett, y Stephanie Rodríguez; su hijo Antonio Rodríguez y su esposa Hailey y sus nietos, Leilani, Aiden, Amairani, Ava, Cameron, Gianna y Maya.

La familia recibirá visitas el jueves en la funeraria de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. El Sr. Rodríguez estará en la capilla a partir de las 2:00 p.m. del jueves.

Un servicio funebre para-José sera a las 2:00 p.m. el viernes 20 de octubre de 2023 en la capilla de la funeraria Lighthouse, 3707 Wolflin Ave. en Amarillo. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Llano Este. (Esquina de Arthur y 34th St.)

Jose Anthony Rodriguez, “Pepito” 57, of Tijuana, Baja California, passed away October 16, 2023, in Amarillo. He was born April 10, 1966, in Mexico.

Our father fought long and hard through many illnesses over the years. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, our father managed his illness with strength, grace, and persistence. He wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible, always making memories, always making someone laugh. Our dad was such a memorable person everywhere we went someone seemed to come up to him and say hello. He always made sure to express his love for his children and especially his grandchildren. He always lightened the mood with his smile and his unique sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his father Jose Angel Rodriguez; his mother Elena Aldaba, and his brothers Reynaldo Rodriguez, and Victor Rodriguez.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Luz Santos; his daughters, Candy Perez and husband Jose, Dayana Clifton and husband Barrett, and Stephanie Rodriguez; his son Antonio Rodriguez and wife Hailey and his grandchildren, Leilani, Aiden, Amairani, Ava, Cameron, Gianna and Maya.

The family will receive visitors Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mr. Rodriguez will be in state beginning at 2:00 p.m. Thursday.

A Funeral Service for Jose is scheduled for 2:00 Friday, October 20, 2023, at Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel, 3707 Wolflin Ave. in Amarillo. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East. (Corner of Arthur and 34th St.)
