Judy C. Auston, 75, went to be with Lord on December 31, 2024, at 7:03 am. at Amarillo, Texas’s BSA Hospital.

She was born on November 3, 1949, to Ellen E. Bennett and Charlie Guthrie.

In 2015, she packed up a small U-Haul truck and moved to Meade, Kansas, where she lived happily for nine years with her son Gearald and daughter-in-law Jessica.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandson. Judy is survived by her three sons, Heath Auston of Texas, Stephen Auston of El Paso, Texas, Gerald Mosley & wife Jessica of Meade, Kansas, and adopted son Bryan Ivy of Wichita Falls, Texas.

The family wishes to express their appreciation and thanks to BSA Hospital and ICU Staff, and Lighthouse Funeral Home staff for their patience and kindness during this difficult time.

Judy, I miss you dearly. especially our phone conversations and sometimes midnight phone calls.
You always knew just what to say to lift my spirits and make me laugh. If Jerry only knew the funny things you would tell me at his expense to make me laugh. one of my fondest memories and taking you and Mema on rides just to get out of the house. And the comments you or Mema would make about a nice car or fancy house. I will miss you, but I also know you are at peace now and not suffering with your illness or back pain. When the Lord took you home, he proved that he takes the very best.
