Judy Kaye Dankworth, a beacon of strength, humility, and fierce love, passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on May 10, 1951, in Bluffton, OH, Judy carried the spirit of her Midwestern roots to her home in Amarillo, Texas. She epitomized the resilient spirit of the American heartland, living a life defined by hard work, perseverance, and an unyielding love for her family.

She had a unique ability to find joy in the simplest things, and she shared this joy with everyone around her. She was a woman of action, but also a woman of deep thought.

She was preceded in death by her father, Asa Wilson, and mother, Lucille McVety.

Judy is survived by her sons, Bryan Huffman, and Lonnie Huffman.

Judy’s life was a testament to the thought that it is not the length of life, but the depth of life that truly matters. Judy may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts.
