Kara Danell Barrow, 36, of Amarillo passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2020. She was born on April 26, 1984 in Amarillo, Texas to James and Mary Ann (Albert) Dennis Jr.
A Celebration of Kara’s life will take place on Friday, November 6, 2020, at noon at Hillside Christian Church, 600 Tascosa Road, in Amarillo, with Pastor John Watson and Pastor Chris Condit officiating.
Kara was a manager at Jason’s Deli and had a great drive for service and leadership. She had a love for cooking inside or out, riding motorcycles and outdoor activities, but her greatest passion was her girls. Kara had a deep-rooted love for God and depended on her Spiritual Life for whatever came her way. She raised her girls to have that same passion and drive. Kara had a beautiful smile. Her laugh was so infectious, and just hearing it made everyone around laugh.
Kara was preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremiah Dennis; her paternal grandfatherm James Dennis Sr., and maternal grandparents James T. and Dea Albert Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her father, James Dennis, Jr. and wife Trinity; mother Mary Ann Dennis and spouse Henry Gonzales Jr.; beloved children Maggie and Chloe Barrow; sister Amanda Lacy and spouse Cole Wisdom; paternal grandmother, Lou Dennis; nieces, Trinity and Aaliyah Lacy; nephew Alex Lacy; aunt Teresa Albert; uncle, James Lloyd Albert; cousin, Tiffany Gerken, and many extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
