Karen Louise Patterson (nee Burk), age 73, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2026, at her home. She was born in Borger, Texas, on April 9, 1952, to Billy and Louise Burk and was the loving sister of three brothers.
Karen was a beloved mother to three children: Heather, Hayley, and Harley, who will miss her immensely. Above all, Karen loved being a grandmother and treasured her time with her granddaughters, Harper and Paisley, whom she loved to spoil and whose art decorated her walls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Louise Burk; twin sister, Sharon Burk; brother, Billy T. Burk; granddaughter, Penelope Anne Rogers; and goddaughter, Erica Dudley.
Karen is survived by her children, Heather Patterson; Hayley Rogers and husband, Kelsey; and Harley Patterson; her grandchildren, Harper and Paisley Rogers; her brothers, Larry Burk and Robert Burk; a niece and several nephews; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Truly a sweet person and family. I have had the pleasure of working with her daughter and neice for several years and know her heart thru them.
