Kevin Lee Wagner, 63 of Henrietta, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, December 8, 2024. 

There will be a family visitation on Thursday, December 19th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo, Texas.   A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday December 20th at Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery following the service.

Kevin was born March 26, 1961, to Don R. and Neva (Reese) Wagner in Amarillo, TX. He graduated from Amarillo High School. While in Jr. High and High School he played basketball and ran track setting and holding AISD records. He also took Auto Mechanics. He worked with his parents at the gas station and truck stop until he went to work for FedEx in 1985. He continued working for FedEx for 36 years until his retirement in 2021. While with FedEx he worked at the Lubbock, Amarillo, Wichita Falls, and Lawton locations. He formed several life-long friendships at each location. 

In 1981 Kevin married Lois Amen and they had two children together, LeighAnn and Kelly. After their divorce he married Kathleen Bell Gardner. In May they celebrated their 38th year together. Kathleen had two sons that Kevin loved as his own. They had one daughter together, Samantha. 

Kevin was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, basketball, and napping during Texas Ranger games. But what he really enjoyed was spending time with his grandchildren. 

In 2022, he went to Michigan with 5 of his grands from Amarillo, stopped by and saw one grand on the way, and then met up with the rest of his natural grands in Michigan. It was the first time all of his natural grands were together. For these few days and the years that followed he was so happy and proud that he could be with them. 

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Neva Wagner.

Survivors include his wife Kathleen Wagner of the home; three sons Randall Wagner of Henrietta, Darrell Gardner and wife Erin of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kelly Sawielski and wife Alicia of Michigan; two daughters, LeighAnn Thomas and husband Cory of Owosso, MI, and Samantha May of Henrietta, TX. Kevin also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his dad Don R. Wagner of Amarillo; three sisters Kim Barrera and husband Steve of Amarillo, Pam Jordan and husband Jim of Great Bend, KS, and Judy Cormier and husband Chris of McKinney, TX; and one brother Jody Wagner of Texarkana, AR, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins he loved dearly.
