Larry Wayne Grover Love was born April 7, 1988, in Amarillo, Texas to Nora Lucy Evans Love and Lowell Scott Love, and passed away August 4, 2022, in Abilene, Texas.

Larry was raised in Amarillo, was a quarterback on his high school football team, and graduated from Tascosa High School in 2006. He sang in a garage band and once attempted a career in male modeling. He loved classic cars and motorcycles, going fishing, playing pool and getting tattoos. Larry was employed with Anderson Merchandisers and had been working towards joining the management team. Larry enjoyed spending time with his children and family and loved his children very much. Larry was unique and liked making people laugh, even at his own expense. His laughter was uplifting and contagious. He was well loved and had an array of friends and family.

Larry was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Larry and Patricia Love; maternal grandparents Wayne and Virginia Evans; uncles Mike Evans and Lorne Love; aunt Susie Evans; and cousin Max Petty.

Larry is survived in death by parents Lowell and Nora Love of Amarillo; children Cameron Lynn Love of Austin, Texas, Sylias David Love of Pensacola, Florida, and Devilynn Scott Love of Amarillo; sister Christa Love of Amarillo; life partner Amy McDaniel of Amarillo; aunt Sandi Parks and husband David of Dallas, Texas; cousins Christy Finley and Kendra Jobe, both of Dallas, Texas; his four-legged fur child, Hoss, and numerous other extended family members and friends.

Larry’s family will be accepting visitors at 1907 Brazos in the upcoming weeks if you would like to come share your memories of Larry.

A memorial service for Larry will be held Saturday, August 20th at 5107 W. McCormick Rd in Amarillo at 5:00 pm, with a potluck celebration of life to follow, if you would like to bring your favorite side dish.
