With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Leonard “Lenny” Daniel Franco, on July 18, 2025. Lenny age 31, was born on August 12, 1993, in Muleshoe, Texas to Pedro and Carmen (Gomez) Franco. He was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, and Friend.
There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m. this Thursday, July 24, with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25 at Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27, Amarillo, Texas.
Lenny graduated from high school in Clovis, New Mexico, before relocating to Amarillo, where he worked as a fiber technician. He took great pride in his work, especially the opportunity to travel and connect with people from all walks of life. Leonard had a unique ability to make friends wherever he went — he never met a stranger.
He will be remembered for his love of laughter, his passion for video games, and his unwavering loyalty to his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins. Leonard embraced life fully, cherished good times, and lived with a free spirit.
Lenny is survived by his beloved daughter, Milyia Franco; his parents, Pedro Franco Sr. and Carmen Franco; his brother, Pedro Franco Jr., and wife Erica, along with their children, Adrian and Uriyah Franco; his sister, Brenda Franco, and her partner, Damari Allums, along with their children, Genesis Maes, Zereya Allums, Carrah Allums, and Malani Allums; and his brother, Jimmy Franco, and husband, Zachary Franco.
He will be especially remembered for his beautiful smile and infectious laughter that could light up any room.

Lenny, I remember when my Tio still lived in Clovis my mom and I stayed the night and we slept in the living room on the couch. We watched Netflix and one movie we watched together was “how to train a dragon”. We laughed that night then went to sleep. I will forever remember your laugh and your smile! You will be deeply missed primo. I love you. Fly high!
I’ll always remember our talks about life and how you told me i could be more than what i was and i’ll forever be grateful not only be a big part of my life but to everyone around you.
