On July 6, 2023, Levi “Lavern” Joseph Eytcheson left us tragically at the age of 21. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation Services with Ray Guy officiating.
Levi was born on June 3, 2002 in Amarillo, by no surprise it was on his time and his terms. He grew up in the Amarillo area living on several ranches. He also attended school in Clarendon, Stinnett, and Bushland. Levi was born with an adept ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues on all types of motorized vehicles, all without any formal training. This skill made him the first phone call friends and family made when they needed to get back on the road, and he would drop everything at the drop of a hat for them. Levi woke up everyday, ready for the adventure of living in that day. He had a carefree spirit and a heart for helping anyone and everyone who needed him. If life had him down, you would never know it. Levi loved motorcycles and big trucks, but they were no match to the love he had for his family and friends. His quick wit and orneriness made him the life of any party and if you were lucky enough to be a part of his life, you knew how deeply he loved you. His bright smile and contagious laugh complimented his bigger-than-life personality perfectly. Every day with Levi was a treasure and his kind heart will never be forgotten. He was truly one of a kind and our family will forever miss having him with us.
Levi is survived by his parents, Steve and Brenda Eytcheson, and, Josh and Rainey Hawkins all of Amarillo, his brothers, Clayton White, Rowdy Eytcheson, Wrangler Eytcheson, Josh Lowry and wife Savana, Matthew Lowry, Brett Henderson, sisters, Alissa Reeves and Piper Hawkins all of Amarillo, grandparents Jack and Cathy Eytcheson, and Joe and Debbie Warren all of Amarillo, aunts and uncles, Albert and Jennifer Barrientos of Canyon Tx, Chris and Crissy Warren of Amarillo, Adam and Stormey Lehn of Amarillo, and a whole host of cousins and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved furry companions, Shorty and Camo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gracie’s Project, Forgotten Dog League of Amarillo, Panhandle Pet Savers, or any other animal rescue organization.
