When I was a kid, Linda would often babysit me, my sister and brother on a Saturday night. Linda was a close friend to my aunt Peggy beginning as teenagers. They maintained their friendship by telephone over the miles and years that separated them. My family still holds a special place in our hearts for Linda. We have many fond memories of Linda and send her love and light as she makes her journey onward. ??

Linda Monteen Hollings was one of my sisters. I was the eldest child and had responsibilities to assist in raising my sister. She had great faith in the Lord our God, and now she is with Him. Linda would never give up because she loved her children and all of God’s creations. We had fun playing this kids and her life was about as hard as you can imagine. She was Amarillo’s first union ironworker, that should tell you how hard she tried. I love her and now we we’ll see each other again in heaven where she now has some peace. I love you Linda.
