Lindon Coleman Crider

Lindon Coleman Crider was born 26 January 1948 to William Vernon Crider and Imogene Young in Rome GA.  

Coleman served in both the Army and Navy for 20 years.  In the Army He completed three tours in Vietnam earning the Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and numerous other medals, awards and citations.  In the Navy he deployed around the world on numerous Naval Vessels and was a certified welder for high pressure hulls on nuclear submarines.  

Coleman enjoyed camping, muscle cars, casinos and spending time with friends and family.  He was a free spirit who would show up on your door step to catch up and then disappear as he sought out another adventure.

He was preceeded in death by both his parents and brothers, Vernon Leroy Crider and Ralf Crider. 

Family and friends left to cherish his memory are his sons Robert Crider and Kelly Robinson, sister-in-law Diane K. Crider, nephew Bill Crider and wife Denise, niece Kammie Francis and husband David, Arthur Crider and wife Mindy, close friends Walter and Linda Mouett and numerous other family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date where his ashes will be spread at sea in accordance with his wishes.
