Maria Garcia, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on August 19, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. She was born in Edmonson, Texas, on September 14, 1959, to Guadalupe and Dementria (Bueno) Garcia.
Although Maria had no children of her own, she adopted all her nieces and nephews. She was GARCIA, never met a stranger, and would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She had a loving family everywhere she went. If you knew Maria, you loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Demetria Garcia; brothers, Rudy Garcia, Roger Garcia, Celso Garcia, Lupe Garcia, and Primo Garcia; and one sister, Yolanda Garcia.
She is survived by one sister, Evonne Flores, as well as many sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas. Ash inurnment will follow at the Dumas Cemetery.

Oh Mary, yes beautiful heart no doubt. Loves her smile and her laughter. Such an amazing person!
