Maudie Lynn Hemby, 63, passed away on November 4th, 2021.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at New beginnings Church located at, 1400 SW 8th Street, Amarillo, TX.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Chapel located at 3707 Wolflin Ave.
Maudie was born January 12, 1958 in Amarillo, to Charles and Velma (Griffin) Cowan. She married Danny Hemby.
Maudie was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Hemby; her parents, Charles and Velma Cowan; siblings, Elizabeth, Leonard Ray, Jimmy Dawn, Billy Jean, Tracy, Brenda, Donna, Charles, and Danny.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three sisters, Patricia Sparrow, Twana Cowan, and Rhonda Thompson; two brothers, Jimmy Cowan, and Donnie Cowan; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews

I do not know where to begin !!! We have a lot of memories a lot !! Golly Lynn I’m here to tell you I miss your beautiful smile !! Lynn you and me have so many pictures to keep I will too and treasure them all! Lynn I remember so many fun times good time and sad times we went across country together and yu will forever be in my heart we maybe apart but never by heart !! We never got to say our goodbyes but that I will never question. Just know KAELEE and I will love you till our last breath and then after that we will love you forever!!
