Michael Lee Moore, 75, of Amarillo, gained his heavenly wings on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born December 20, 1948, in Childress, Texas to Martin Lee Moore and Anna Faye Bramlett.

Michael graduated from Childress High School in 1967. Soon after, he joined the U.S. Air Force, he served in Vietnam from 1969-1972; he was honorably discharged as an E4 Sargent. He moved to Amarillo where he met the love of his life, Dianna Moore. They married in 1978 and were happily married for 44 years, until her passing in 2021.

Michael worked for Pantex as a materials handler for over 30 years, until his retirement.  He led a life of dedication, service, and love. He loved his family, enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, watching car races, and baseball.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna; his parents; a brother; both grandparents, and a great-granddaughter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Carolyn Rodgers and husband Richard; his two daughters, Kecia Witt and Stephanie Campbell; four grandchildren, Tana Martinez and husband Brandon, Brandon Marshall and wife Alexis Colton Marshall, and wife Faith, and Nathan O’Donnell; seven great-grandchildren; a niece, nephews, cousins, and his four fur babies. He will truly be missed.

A Memorial Service celebrating Michael’s life will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, July 5, 2024, at Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel, 3707 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo.
