Nancy Marie Sprouse

Nancy Marie Sprouse born July 13, 1946, entered into the embrace of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 27, 2022.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved the simplicity of life. She was a very talented artist that passed that same gift to several of grandchildren. In her younger years she was a waitress. Often working two to three jobs. She worked in many factories, and picture framing galleries. She was involved in her home churches. For a while she traveled with puppet shows and ministered to young girls who needed to be loved well. She was drawn to motorcycle groups. Some of her favorite activities were riding motorcycles in the California desert, hiking, camping, but her greatest joy was traveling with her beloved husband Dennis. They spent years ministering at the Indian reservations, teaching Sunday school classes, sponsoring for youth groups, and painting extravagant murals for nurseries. For many years they would leave the week after thanksgiving and return the weekend before Easter. This enabled her to see her granddaughters in their frilly dresses. She had so many great adventures. Her greatest adventures were the ones she spent enjoying life with her family. She would tell whatever grandchild she was with at the moment that they were her favorite. Not only did she love people, but she loved her dogs. She had several over the years, each one she took great care of.

Nancy cared deeply about others and paid close attention to those around her. She noticed things others usually didn’t and would go out of her way to show you that she loved you.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Sprouse of the home, her sons, Robert Burton and wife Darlene (Dee) of Amarillo, Texas, Son Robby Summers of Earlsboro, OK, and seven grandchildren Deanna Burton, Hannah Burton, Kyla Aguirre, Kathryne Summers, Konnyr Summers, Korbynn Summers, and Klayr Summers.
