Nora Flores, 50, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family May 10, 2023, in Amarillo. She was born January 16, 1973, in Fabens, Texas to Javier and Maria Flores.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2023, at Lighthouse Funeral Chapel, Amarillo, Texas.
Nora was big on surprises. If she knew you loved or collected something, she often found it in a store or a garage sale and bought it to surprise you with it. She was really big on birthdays and holidays and loved to give presents. At any holiday, you can be sure she would bring her famous chicken chow mein, and her highly requested fruit salad.
She had a love for shopping. She and her mom were always out at the stores. She loved collecting all things Betty Boop and had one of the largest collections!
Nora will be missed and forever loved, but we can rest easy that she is now free.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joel Flores.
Nora will live on in the hearts and memories of her husband Ricardo Gonzales; her sons, Albert and JJ, her daughter, Rosemary and husband Alonzo; four grandchildren; her parents, Javier and Maria Flores; five brothers, Harvey Flores and wife Michelle, Jesus Flores and wife, Angelica, Cesar Flores and wife Lizzet, Louie Flores and wife Beatriz, and Abel Flores; eight nieces, three nephews, and her beloved cat, Jimmy.
Condolences an prayer to the family. May the Lord bring you peace in these difficult moments. Nora has gone to be with our Lord. May she rest in peace. Will for ever be missed an loved.

The next morning she told me “I Heard you laughing all night” thinking I was going to be In trouble and she continued “ it’s good to hear you laugh and being happy Mija I love you.” We then went to make breakfast and it was a great day.
