Pamela Rains Allen went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 18, 2026.
Pam graduated from Palo Duro High School and went on to become a nail tech who was loved by many. She spent most of her life in a salon, surrounded by her clients who were her cherished friends. She married the love of her life, Paul, on June 20, 2025.
She loved Jesus and didn’t mind sharing her faith with everyone she met. She attended Trinity Fellowship Church and served in the choir for many years. She loved doing nails for all her clients, and they adored her bubbly personality. Her laugh was infectious, and to know her was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Wanda Rains; sister Mary Swindell; brother-in-law Johnny Rinehart; and sisters-in-law Leanne Walker and Dana Carr. Pam is survived by her husband, Paul Allen; sisters Charla Rinehart and Bobbie McLaughlin and husband Sam; brother Wesley Rains; and brother-in-law David Swindell. She also has many cherished nieces and nephews.
Her celebration of life will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Journey Church, located at 9711 FM 2186 in Amarillo.
I’ve known Pam since 7th grade. Since then she has ALWAYS been a joy, a ray of sunshine in my life. Always made me smile when I was down she knew just what to say to cheer me up. She will for always be in my memory. I love you for ever Pammie!

Ive known Pam since elementary school, we lived on the same block and would sometimes walk together to Emerson. Yes I had a childhood crush on her. But we remained friends but I got lost, and when I found myself she was there for me and offered encouragement. She was my first friend on Facebook when I opened it up again. You will truly be missed Pam. REST IN PEACE .

Pam was such a joy. I knew Pam since I can remember. I have so many stories of her while my mom took my brother and I to the Salon with her. I am saddened to know she has passed but it brings joy that she is in heaven. Prayers for the family. God bless you all
I always said you missed your calling you were a quick witted and very funny sweet girl and lady. I remember you babysitting my kids. Kelley remembers you braiding her hair.
