Patricia Imogene Fowler, a woman of boundless love and generosity, departed this life on April 5, 2025. Born in Amarillo, TX, on May 22, 1946, Patricia was a lifelong resident of the city she loved. As a graduate of Amarillo High School, Patricia’s greatest achievement was not academic, but rather the nurturing and raising of her children, which she did with an abundance of love and compassion. She was employed at NWTH and various other professions. Her tireless dedication to her family and home demonstrated her strength and industrious nature. Her green thumb was evident in the beautiful yard and pond she so meticulously cared for, a testament to her love of nature.

Patricia was a supportive pillar of her family and took great joy in the company of her children and her beloved Dog, Buster Fowler. Her love and compassion radiated to all those around her, and she was known for her warm and kind heart. Pat was known for her love of Jesus and her love for people around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Stallings and Imogene Stallings, her husband, Henry Fowler, and her brother, Alton Stallings.

Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Darter, and her daughter, Lisa Giles.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “It is not length of life, but depth of life.” Patricia’s life, though it has ended, continues to resonate in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at Llano Cemetery, 2900 S. Hayes St.
