Patsy Jean Day, age 71, of Borger, Texas passed away on October 2, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas.
Patsy was born August 1, 1951, to Gene and Margaret Frye in Dumas, Texas. Patsy worked for Conoco Phillips for 28 years and had many positions but was in procurement management for the longest position she held while at Conoco Phillips. Patsy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to go skiing with her family in Colorado. She was always ready to travel and experience the world with her family. She often played games on her phone when she was bored, and even cooked something new when she knew all there was to cooking. She also loved hanging out with her co-workers and helping her family as much as she possibly could. Patsy was a problem-solver for everything and everyone. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She was very involved with family and attended as many games as possible for her grandchildren, before COVID hit in 2020 and that’s when she stopped getting out of the house for the games she enjoyed and loved to watch.
Preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Margaret Frye, and her brother, Gerald Frye.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Crissee Day of Arlington, Texas and Jennifer Day of Amarillo, Texas; a sister Judy Frye of Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren, Elexis, Daebreon, Caymon, and Aidan, and two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Aislyn.
