Princess Anthony Lara, 27, of Amarillo passed away March 13, 2021. She was born on August 19th, 1993 in Lubbock Texas to Emily Soto and Anthony Lara, Sr.
A Celebration of Princess’ Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20 at the Botanical Gardens, 1400 Streit Drive. The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 19, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, located at 4207 SW 21st Ave, in Amarillo.
Princess was the life of the party. When she was around, there was never a dull moment. She has been described as someone who would do anything to put a smile on someone’s face. Princess was the most genuine and kind-hearted person with intoxicating laughter. She had a quirky sense of humor, and was the life of the party. She had a desire to help always and gravitated toward people in need. Princess loved with her whole heart. She was an angel on earth.
She was preceded in death by two uncles, Jacob Soto and Ricky Lara.
Princess leaves behind her mother, Emily Soto and stepdad, Alejadro Esparza, of Plainview, Texas; her dad, Anthony Lara, Sr., of Amarillo; a sister, Brittany Trevino and husband Jeraldo; brothers, Timothy Lara, and fiancé Maggie Lucero, Zachary “Deja” Lara, of Amarillo, Texas, Tommy “Honey” Lara, of Goodyear, Arizona, and Brady Soto of Plainview. She was also survived her grandparents, Alex and Generosa Soto, of Plainview, Antonio and Eva Lopez, of Goodyear, Arizona, Jesse Lara, of Gila Bend, Arizona, Yolanda Hernandez, of Dallas, Texas; and by several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
