Rafael Jorge Morales Marzo, conocido por mucho como Jorgito, falleció el 5 de febrero de 2026 rodeado de su amorosa familia.

Nació en Cueto, Holguín, Cuba. Vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Isla de Pinos. Conoció a Dios muy joven. Se graduó de pastor en la Iglesia de Dios en Cuba y trabajó en la obra por 20 años.

En 2011 emigró a Estados Unidos, como refugiado político. Él fue alegre, activo, y tenía carácter fuerte. Él era un puntual trabajador. Sentía amor y agradecimiento por este país que le permitió vivir en libertad, y por ser anticomunista. Le gustaba mirar la TV, estar en casa y disfrutar de la familia que construyó.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Rafael Moralos, y Georgina Marzo,y sus hermanos, Arley Morales, y William Rodriguez.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Ana Elvis Hernandez; su hijo, Jorge Mario Morales, una hija, Grace Morales, y su hijastra, Nalena. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Arnaldo, Alexander y Misleydis Morales.

La ceremonia funeraria en el cementerio se llevará a cabo a las 9:30 a.m, el viernes 27 de febrero de 2026, en el cementerio Llano Este.

Rafael Jorge Morales Marzo, known by many as Jorgito, passed away on February 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cueto, Holguín, Cuba. He lived most of his life on the Isle of Pines. He came to know God at a very young age. He graduated as a Pastor in the Church of God in Cuba and worked in the ministry for 20 years.

In 2011, he emigrated to the United States as a political refugee. He was cheerful, active, and had a strong character. He was a punctual worker. He felt love and gratitude for this country, which allowed him to live in freedom, and for being anti-communist. He enjoyed watching TV, being at home, and spending time with the family he built.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael Moralos, and Georgina Marzo, and his hermanos, Arley Morales and William Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Elvis Hernandez; his son, Jorge Mario Morales, his daughter, Grace Morales, and his stepdaughter, Nalena. He is also survived by his brothers, Arnaldo, Alexander y Misleydis Morales.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Llano Cemetery East.
