Ralph Trevino Sustaita, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on July 28, 2025. He was born in Cuero, Texas to Ralph Sustaita, Sr. and Consuelo (Trevino) Sustaita on September 23, 1947.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 31, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Ralph loved golfing and playing the slot machines at the casino. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family members, and he loved them deeply. Ralph was always willing to help anyone who was in need. He will be remembered for his strength, quiet wisdom, and the deep love he had for his family. Ralph was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a great sense of humor, and he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Consuelo “Connie” Trevino Sustaita, and Ralph R. Sustaita, and a grandson, Juan G. Quintanilla.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Shain Sustaita, and Joshua Sustaita; daughter, Monica Parrie and husband Jeramy; grandchildren, Xavier Parrie, Zachary Parrie, and Khloe Parrie; sisters, Lydia Sustaita and husband Ruben Garcia, and Gloria Sustaita; a brother, Samuel Sustaita and wife Mary, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ralph was a member of my Pantex Pro Force for several years. May he rest was a good employee, friend and associate. He will be missed by many . May he rest in peace.
Ralph was so fun to be around. He met everyone with a smile at work as we went through a guard station, and his gentle spirit was calming and loving. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Ralph was a dear friend. He was always cheerful with big smile. He made some of the best salsa. May he rest in peace.
Ralph and I had a lot in common we were both Vietnam Veterans and when I met him at Pantex he was always willing to me to learn the area. When I became Lieutenant we continued to be friends and played golf together and several other Pantex Guards. I met all of his family and befriended all of them.
Ralph will be dearly missed.
Don’t ever recall Ralph having a negative comment about anyone. Just the way he was wired. He was much more than a friend to me and other “Nam” survivor’s, went much deeper than that.
