Ricky Joe O’Hara, 55, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Amarillo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was born in Amarillo on June 25, 1969, to Bobby Joe and Linda O’Hara.

His family will host a come and go memorial will be held at 1:00 Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Northwest Village Apartments Community Building, 6101 W. I-40, Amarillo, Texas.

Ricky loved his family and friends. He enjoyed singing, cooking and jokingly teasing his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe O’Hara; his grandparents, Leslie and Beatrice Link; a brother, Daren O’Hara, and uncles Gerald Link, Ray Link and Ernie Link.

Ricky will forever be remembered by his mother, Linda O’Hara; his siblings, Bob Welch and wife Lesa, Shain Welch and wife Cheryl, and Belinda O’Hara; nephews, Austin, Collin, Kaleb, and Nayron; nieces, Heavenly, Samantha, Tyfani, Kelsy, Isabel and Eliana. He is also survived by an uncle, Wayne Link and wife Wilma; aunts, Mary Lewis, July Link and Hazel Link, as well as numerous cousins.
