With heavy hearts, we announce that Robert Allen Heredia, better known to family and friends as “Ace,” gained his wings on August 29, 2026. Born on November 25, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas, Robert lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family and friends.
Known for his warm spirit and unforgettable personality, Robert had a way of making those around him feel welcome and valued. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and created lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Robert was an avid golfer who found immense joy on the golf course, where he enjoyed both the game and the friendships it brought into his life. He was also a loyal Texas Longhorns fan who proudly cheered on his beloved team through every season.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph “Kidd” Heredia.
Above all, Robert cherished his family. He is survived by his children, Regina (Bobby), Jordan, Johnathan, and Colton; grandchildren, Dayton (Colleen), Savannah, Shelbiegh (Josh), Bobbie, Andre, Davian (fiancée Ava,) Hudson and Easton; and great-grandchildren, Elliott, Owen, Joziah, Alina, Josh, Jr., and Davian, Jr.
Though Robert has gained his wings, the love, wisdom, and memories he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy is one of kindness, laughter, loyalty, and devotion to family. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished moments that will be remembered for generations to come.
Robert will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten by his family, friends, and all whose lives were blessed by his presence.

I probably knew Robert as well as anybody we spent more days that I can count on the golf course together me his dad my oldest daughter Nicci we would meet up before it got light enough to see and leave after dark play 54 holes and walk them all. He drove me crazy sometimes and I would get so mad at him but he would just say “Ace lighten up I will miss him more than I can tell you but I know he is at peace now
My dear friend Robert, you were my friend since Bowie and caprock. You were always so kind and funny. Then you left and didn’t hear from you. When you got back we became friends again. You’re plans were going great. New place to live, all the places we wanted to eat at and especially the trip we had planned in 2 days. I will be thinking of you this Thursday we were both so excited and so was I. I’m going to miss you my friend. RIP love you brother.

work with him at Reynosa when I was 18 yrs old me and him went to the air base in Wichita falls for a week.we were late to work everyday cause he wanted conetal breakfast,after we finished the job we stop to get gas.when we drove off we hit a car in the dully Reynosa company truck they exchanged insurance no cops called.way home all we did was laugh.rip homie
I just have this vivid memory of us sitting at the lunch table in the cafeteria at Lawndale elementary. He was always friendly, funny and cute. He was liked by EVERYONE. And that goes al the way through high school. Those early childhood friendships are so profound, I guess because it’s our formative years. After graduation we went on with our lives separately but I will always know him as my special friend. RIP Robert 🙏
