Robert “Bobby” Evans, 78, of Beaver, Oklahoma, passed away July 31, 2024, in the Ussery Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo.  He was born November 7, 1946, in Boise City, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Darlene Evans.

A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas.

Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Oklahoma, Hollow E0150 Rd., Beaver, Oklahoma, 73932 (One mile south of Beaver, Oklahoma.)

Bobby married Delores Mallard in Guymon, Oklahoma.  They resided there for many years until they moved to Beaver.

Bobby was a loving, caring husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and great grandpa.  He enjoyed spending time visiting family and friends.  He loved fishing and hanging out with his three brothers, David, Wayne, and Roy Evans.

When Bobby’s three daughters were little, he would take a payday candy bar and put it under their pillows at night when it was his “payday.”

He had a laugh that would make you laugh and a smile that would light up a room.  Everyone who met him loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Darlene Evans.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Delores Evans, of Beaver, Oklahoma; three daughters, Janice Evans of McAlester, Oklahoma, Michele Riddles of Port Orchard Washington, and Frances Stiles, of Dumas, Texas; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Evans and Wayne Evans, both of Guymon Oklahoma, and Roy Evans, of Mooreland, Oklahoma.  He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
