He would always go out of his way to help a friend or a stranger. Ronald loved to spend his time with family and friends. He loved cooking with his mom and working on cars with his dad. He would also find new ways to torment his sisters. Ronald loved the outdoors and trying something new.
Those who will continue to carry his light are his loving and devoted parents Roni and Sheldon Hayes; his father, Jose Varela, IV and his wife, Carla Varela; his brothers, Zeth and Donald, his sisters, Misty, Tara, Kyra, Kalee, Kloie, and Summer; his playful nephew Karter, as well as many aunts, uncles, and a multitude of cousins.

I didn’t know Ronald very well, but I did know that he was a kind hearted young man with a sweet smile. The few times I talked with him were always enjoyable, and I always admired his curiosity during class about rockets and how they worked. I was able to see his face light up when he talked to the teacher about the mechanics and asked questions about how how they were built.

Ronald was a great friend. He would sit with me at lunch and hang out with me and my friends at recess. We all loved him and knew he was a kind, sweet person. Ronald would have classes close to mine and I loved walking him to class bc he would always tell me about some crazy stuff. I loved the stories though, they would make my day. I will forever have Ronald in my heart. I will never forget all the good times we had. <3
Rest in peace my friend fly high
