Ronell Brown, 75, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025.
Ronnie was a good provider for his family, working hard as the main breadwinner. He had a quiet strength that taught his son to endure life‘s challenges with a steadfast, perseverance he loved his family, taking care to spend time with his mother, even as his strength was waning. He loved all things cars. From building race cars to simply vegging out to NASCAR, Ronnie was an addict. He didn’t hesitate to lend a hand wherever he was able. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Fly away dad, see you soon!
Ronnie was preceded in death by his daughter’s Shanna and Shawna Brown; father, Warren Brown; brother, Terry Brown.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Charlene Brown; wife, Debbie Brown; sister, Sandie McLean; son, Dustin Brown, and wife Kim; grandchildren, Ashton and Kylie, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on April 26, 2025, at the United Pentecostal Church Northside, 2424 North Mirror St., Amarillo, Texas.

Ronnie was one of my favorite double cousins. He was steadfast to his family and friends always kind and loving. I will always cherish the memories of Ronnie.

Ronnie was a caring & kind person. When my late husband was able to visit at his sister’s, never failed a story would be spoken of their childhood. Ronnie, Sandy & Terry plus grandma, I was impressed by everyone’s sharp memories, lol. It was good to hear laughter and the closeness the family had was admirable. As a military brat, I didn’t get to spend my entire childhood near my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, but I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to live with my grandparents for a little over a year. During this time, I got to know my Uncle Ronnie quite well. I loved spending the night at his house, spending time with the family. As I now look back on my life, I have quite a few good memories from the times I was able to visit Amarillo, and many of those good memories are of my Uncle Ronnie. While I will miss him, I find peace knowing that he is in Heaven with Jesus, my grandpa, my dad, and all of the other family members that are there waiting for us to eventually join them. I look forward to seeing you again one day Uncle Ronnie.
