Sarah Havran, 76, of Amarillo, passed away September 15, 2023. She was born July 20, 1947, in Parma Heights, Ohio to Russell Alderson and Rosina Maynard.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Havran, her son, Johnny Matthews, her daughter, Jayann Alengi, and her granddaughter, Jayna Havran.
Sarah is survived by her children – Joy, Tom (wife Keri), David (wife Lisa), Robert (wife Kaydee), and daughter-in-law Vicki Matthews. Her grandchildren – Jason Whitlow (wife Dory), Jeremy Whitlow (wife Michelle), Michael Matthews (wife Joanna), Kyla Lay (husband Sam), Jeri Ann Benson, Skylar, Kimberly Havran, Adam Pritchett, and Matthew Pritchett (wife Sally). Her great grandchildren – Cheyene, Reanna, Jayden Nathaniel, Catlien, Alexis, Joshua, Alicia, Everly, Jayden Daniel Malone, Jaxon, Skylynn, and Lynnlee. Sarah had 2 great-great grandchildren – Havan and Lila Faith.
A family memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whitlow residence. Please contact a family member for more information.
I 1978 Sarah and her husband Mike. Took me in as a member of their family. Many good times through out the years. Always thought of her as my older Sister. Thanks for the the wonderful times Sis.
