Seba Ann Hollis

Seba Ann Hollis, 83, of Amarillo Texas passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, surrounded by her family. Memorial service will be set at a later date.

Seba was born on July 4, 1940, to Claude and Ella Simonton in Pampa, Texas. She attended school in Pampa and sometime later met Ralph Hollis. They were married on October 26, 1956, in Clovis, NM and were married for 65 years. Seba and her husband Ralph resided in Amarillo, TX and had four children. Seba was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.

Seba had a love for baking, crafts, and selling Avon. Every year she would enter her crafts and baked goods in the Tri State Fair and placed regularly. Seba also enjoyed spending time with her friends at the quilters group. She was excited about making quilts and sharing stories with her friends. Seba was a selfless person who took care of others before herself. Seba never met a stranger, she loved to talk to others.

Seba was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Hollis; son, Rodney Hollis, her sister, Betty Werley.

Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Rhonda Cline and husband, Mark, and Robin Mitchell; one son, Robert Hollis; 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to the staff at Jan Warner for their care and love of our Seba.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Jan Warner or any Cancer or Alzheimer’s Dementia Organizations.
