Sharron Nix

Sharron Nix, 78, of Amarillo, passed away on February 9, 2021. She was born September 25, 1942, in Amarillo to William Edward and Margaret Louise (Gibbs) Williamson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel located at 14200 Interstate 27, under the personal care of Lighthouse Funeral Services.

Sharron loved cooking for her family. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Sharron was an avid dancer to country music. She owned Texas Apparel and Klassic Promotions for several years, serving the Amarillo area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Margaret Williamson; a sister, Lynn Watts, and a granddaughter, Amanda Nix.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tod Nix and wife Sandra, of Pearland, Tom Nix and Terry Nix, both of Amarillo; a granddaughter that she raised, Tanya Mills and husband Scotty; a brother, Rusty Williamson and wife Doris, of Amarillo; grandchildren, Brady and Brendan Nix, Samanatha McKernan, Cody Nix and Jarred Nix; great-grandchildren, Dayton, Jace, Savanna, Lorelei, Rylee, Toby, Karlee and Luke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Dee and Elaine Nix and her beloved pet, Dixie.

    She & I worked for her folks as office partners for several years. Sharron was such a great mom, daughter, loyal friend & giving person I have known. She was much loved & will be so missed. Much love to my friend Sharron.
