Shawn L. Farrar

Shawn L. Farrar, 46 died unexpectedly November 28, 2020 at home. He was born on August 25, 1974, the son of Winton and Rhonda Farrar.

Shawn graduated from Caprock High School, class of 1992. He has two children who he loved with all his heart, Savannah and Jakob Farrar. He loved to spend his free time fishing or hunting.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Gerald Stark, paternal grandparents John and Zelda Farrar, his father Winton, and sister Patricia Farrar.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Farrar of Amarillo; sister Daphne and husband Ryan Brownlee of Amarillo; daughter Savannah and husband Vincent Chavez of Amarillo; son Jakob Farrar of Amarillo; grandchildren Daecian and Dayanara Chavez; his love Sherri Groom; best friend Stephni Kirkland, nephew Thomas Lawson, and nieces Laura Brownlee, Christina Talamantez, Melissa McKay, and Amanda Lawson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Hillside South Campus (6901 Bell St, Amarillo Texas 79109) on Friday December 4, 2020 at 10 am.
