With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sigifredo Cisneros Jr., a loving son and brother, who left us peacefully on March 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. Sigifredo’s boundless love for those close to him, his passion for bowling, and his dedication to football defined his vibrant spirit.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday evening March 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel, 3707 Wolflin Ave., in Amarillo.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anastascio Cisneros and Maria del Refugio, Joe C. and Inez Tafoya; his uncle, Nestor Sanchez, and Martin Cisneros; and his cousin, Joey Dean Tafoya. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love, strength, and laughter lives on through those who had the honor of knowing him.

Sigifredo’s family was his greatest joy, and he created cherished memories with his loved ones that will forever be treasured. He is survived by his mother, Josephine Cisneros, and stepfather, Carlos Sanchez; his father, Sigifredo Cisneros Sr., and stepmother, Maria Perez; his brothers, Ricardo (Katie) Cisneros, Hector Cisneros, and Aaron (Jenny) Perez; his stepsister, Berenice Draper; his stepbrothers, Eric Sanchez, Elijoh (Estephanie) Sanchez, Christopher (Emily) Sanchez, Carlos Jr. (Gabriella) Sanchez. Sigifredo had no shortage of family members that he loved from his aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him dearly. Sigifredo’s family was the center of his world, and his presence brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

Sigifredo’s life was marked by the warmth he brought to every room, his dedication on the bowling lanes, and his unwavering passion for the Dallas Cowboys. His spirit will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
