Steve Wright, 47, of Amarillo, passed away on October 7, 2024. He was born September 1, 1977, in Amarillo, TX, to Steve and Regina Wright.
Steve was a loving father, grandfather, son, and friend. He loved his family with all his heart and was very compassionate about what he believed in. He loved music and just music loud cruising in his car.
He loved his son Raymond and was very proud of his accomplishments in life. Going to college and a honor student walking across the stage was the best I could have ever asked for in life. His daughter, Lasane Stephens, he didn’t connect with until later in life and she blessed Steve with a grandson, Kingston Stephens. Steve spent time with Lasane and Kingston and had a lot of laughter and good times. Steve did his best to help anyone in need because there wasn’t an end to his kindness and generosity.
I’m happy to say Steve met the love of his life, Jennifer Phillips. Even when the road was rough, she stood by him no matter what. She was there with him as he took his very last breath.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Steve Wright; and grandparents, A.C. Wright, Thelma Wright, John Timcisko, and Jeanne Timcisko.
Steve is survived by his mother, Regina Wright; son, Raymond Wright; daughter, Lasane Stephens; and grandson, Kingston Stephens.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Memory Gardens, 14200 Texas Plains Trl, I-27.
