Steven “Steve” Allen Maddox, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas. Steve was born April 1, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Margorie Brown and Harold Maddox.

Steve’s favorite thing to do was fish and be outdoors. He loved to share his stories and experiences with anyone who would listen. He loved his kids and grandkids and was extremely proud of them. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Jessica Maddox of Amarillo, Texas, Tara Alvarez and husband Alex of Fort Worth, Texas, and Amanda Aldaco and husband Francisco of Amarillo, Texas; his son Spencer Maddox of Amarillo, Texas; 3 grandchildren Axel Aldaco of Amarillo, Texas, Briggs Maddox and Conrad Maddox of Amarillo, Texas; his brothers, Glenn Maddox and wife Mary of Amarillo, Texas, Robin Maddox and wife Vicky of Spokane, Washington, and Stanley Brown of Amarillo, Texas, as well as many other relatives and friends.
