We take this time to honor and remember the life of Terry Lynn Sharman. Born on May 15, 1961, in Hope, AR, Terry was a beacon of joy and laughter to all who knew him. His love for life was contagious, and his signature sense of humor could spark laughter in even the most challenging times. Terry was a loyal friend, a steadfast confidant, and a compassionate soul whose warmth and kindness will be missed by all who knew him. He was, as Mark Twain once declared, “the kind of man who radiated such a sunny and genial atmosphere that it seemed as though the grass ought to be green wherever he walked.”

Terry resided in Amarillo, Texas, where he brought joy and laughter to those around him. Despite not being employed, Terry was far from idle; he was a dedicated volunteer, devoting his time and energy to various community initiatives that were close to his heart. His commitment to helping others was a testament to the depth of his character and his innate kindness. Terry’s compassion was a beacon of hope in the community, a testament to his belief in the words of Mother Teresa, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Sharman, and his mother, Jimmie Kelly, a sister, Cindy Judkin, and he is survived by a sister, Rhonda D. Garrett; his cousin, Teresa Lingnau; an aunt, Debbie Edgar. As we remember Terry, let us celebrate the laughter, love, and light he brought into the world and into our lives.
