Thomas Geary Hilleary, 65, of Amarillo, passed away on September 29, 2021. He was born May 22, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to Isaac “Jake” Ashley and Joyce Lee (Strange) Hilleary.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 4304 E. 10th St.. on October 23, 2021. Arrangements are under the personal care of Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation Services.
Tom was a dedicated husband of 44 years. He was a proud and loving father to his three children, as well as so many others. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, working on cars, and spending time with his family. He was a loyal worker as a superintendent at Fuller and Sons Construction, for 40 years. His generosity was felt by all those who knew him. He truly loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and his extended family and friends. He lived a great life. He will be profoundly missed and faithfully remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Hilleary and Joyce Hilleary Fetter; his stepfather, William Herbert Fetter, Sr.; brother, Bill Fetter, Jr.; a sister, Tammy Esparza; a grandson, Isaac Hilleary; and his beloved, dog Coco.
He is survived by his wife Era Jane Hilleary; three children, Leslie Roberts and husband Larry, Grant Hilleary and wife Emily, Joshua Hilleary and wife Megan; five grandchildren, Dalton, Bree’Anna, Seth, Nathan, Bentley; two great grandchildren, Hudsun, and Paislee; seven sisters, two brothers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Words will never express my love for this man,he was my friend for 50 yrs,him and Jane are the true definition of friends

I immediately thought back to the days the twins were babies and I would bring them over with Suzanne and Jane you gave them their nicknames. Pork chop and applesauce. Tom loved those babies and got after us if they cried! Love you Jane, Leslie & Grant. Praying for you all!
Tom was a hard working family loving man. You always knew where he stood. These are a few of his traits that I admired! Prayers for Jane ,Leslie and the rest of the family!

Tom was a great man one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have known Tom for over 30 years. I will miss hearing his laugh and talking with him. I will miss him very much.

I just saw the time and date of Tom’s service. It is going on right now. Please know that if I had known earlier I would have been there to pay my respects to him. My heart goes out to his family as he was dearly loved. You will see him in Heaven until then he will remain in everyone’s heart.
