Tom Leezer, age 83, went to be with his heavenly father on June 30,
2021 in Amarillo, Texas.

Tom graduated from Johnson City High School in 1955 & from the University of Texas in
1960. He was honored to touch the lives of so many young people as a biology teacher &
coach at Amarillo High School for 35 years.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and spending time with lifelong friends including Wayne
Youngblood, Guss Hrncir, Brad Riffel & Don and Glenda Carper. He was a diehard
University of Texas alumni and supporter and never missed a Longhorn football game.
Tom will live on in the lives of his wife of 60 years that he adored, Sara, his daughter
Susan Kinzie and her husband Jim, along with their children Tyler & Connor, and his
son Tommy Leezer & his wife Christy, their children Paige, Colby & Courtney, and their
grandchildren Tinslee & Aleayah.

He was especially close to his brother and sister in laws Dolly & Johnny Mayer, Alley
Raye & Jim Josey, and nieces and nephews Diann, Chris, Jenni, Melanie and Jimmy. Tom
Tom Leezer had a large extended family that meant so much to him including his brother, Douglas
Leezer and sisters Debbie Chapman, Yvonne Barnett, Freda Fuell & Jacque Brock as well
as the Casparis and Sansom families.

Tom is preceded in death by grandson, Blake, his mother Patty Casparis, his father
Raymond Leezer & stepfather “Tex” Casparis as well as beloved mother & father in law
Dolly & Alley Hull.

Private memorial services are pending. Family suggests memorials be made to
Harrington Cancer & Health Foundation, Amarillo, Texas.
