Tommy Garcia, a resident of Amarillo, TX, passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 54.
Tommy was born in Haskell, Texas on January 8, 1971to Eulogio and Gloria Garcia. He was a life-long Texas Tech Red Raiders fan and even bigger life-long Kansas City Chiefs fan. He truly was a “black and red” fan. Although he had struggles in life, he truly never lost faith in our Savior and beloved Father.
He was preceded in death by his father Eulogio Proa Garcia; his sister Helen Michelle Garcia; stepfather Mario Moreno; maternal grandparents Ponciano Martinez, Gregoria Martinez, and his paternal grandparents Marcelo Garcia and Petra Proa.
Tommy is survived by his mom, Gloria Garcia and stepfather, Bill Luna; his children Israel Garcia, his wife and their 3 kids, Elaine Cruz, Vashati Gonzales, spouse Joe Gonzales their kids, Adelynn, Amiee, and Joshua, Jashlynn Garcia, Noah Garcia and Emali Garcia; his brother Eulogio Garcia and his wife and Jolene Benavidez; sisters Delores Flores and her husband Andy Flores, Florinda Garcia, Connie Delgado and her husband Miguel.
His Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 3, 2025, at Power Church located at 1344 SE 10th Street in Amarillo, Texas.
Man this one is with a heavy heart. Ur gana be missed Ol Timer, thank you for being such a great friend and always looking out for others as best as u could. U will forever be appreciated love and im sure many will see ur never forgotten. Ima play ur song u talked about and played for me the day u break down when u found out about ur sister.
