Billy graduated from Nimitz High School in 1998 and went on to attend Baylor University. While attending Baylor he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

In 2005, he married Robin Harrison in Duncan, OK. In 2012 he completed his Associates Degree from Tarrant County Community College. In July 2012, Billy and Robin welcomed home their daughter, Hannah. He loved her more than anything.

He was employed by Irving ISD where he had worked for 12 years. He had a passion for sports and music. He jumped at any opportunity to attend games or concerts of any kind. He was blessed immensely with talents in art and music, he could play just about any instrument he picked up. He played with The Runaway Brides and The Texas Viceroys (cover bands) and also in Admiral and Great Heart.

Billy was a true jack of all trades musician and really knew how to work a crowd. He could perform and write songs in most any genre and was always about entertaining. He was one of a kind.

As much as he loved music, sports and art, his greatest love was his daughter, Hannah. He loved watching her in school performances, going out for their Saturday father-daughter breakfasts, and always bragged about her to others. He was incredibly proud of her and loved her dearly.

A bright light, a bold personality and an unforgettable friend unknowingly lost in a darkness. I pray for peace, comfort, compassion and unity as we mourn the loss of a greatness that was all you. May your family, especially Hannah, be blessed with the happiest of memories that carry them through in your absence. Rest now until we meet again!
