Wilma Lee Warden Doak, age 91, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 10, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas.

Wilma was born October 1, 1932, to the late Samuel Thomas and Theresia Ruth Armstrong Warden. Wilma was the oldest of four children to include brothers Winfred Warden, Thomas Warden, and sister Marilyn Warden Ridenour. She married Robert B. Doak in Dalhart, Texas on December 22, 1950. Bob and Wilma had one daughter, Charlotte Anne Doak.

Wilma was a graduate of Dalhart High School and Draughn’s Business College. She worked in brokerage firms in Amarillo, Tx and St. Paul, MN.

Wilma loved the Lord, her family, and her cats. She and Bob opened their home to many of the young service men who needed a place to stay. She loved oil painting, making jewelry, and hosting Bible Studies in her home.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Doak in 2004; a daughter, Charlotte Anne Doak of Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 2003; brothers Winfred Lee Warden and wife, Francis, Thomas Griffith Warden; a brother-in-law, Bill Ridenour, and nephews Thomas R. Warden, Kenneth E. Warden and Gerald Rogers.

Survivors include, a sister, Marilyn Warden Ridenour of Graham, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
