Denise Carver, a member of our Lighthouse staff, and other volunteers have been working with the Angel Tree for several weeks and are in desperate need of help packing gift boxes and getting them ready to be delivered. They are running shorthanded and only have a few days left to meet the Christmas deadlines.
Emily with Angel Tree needs your help ASAP. Angel Tree and the Salvation Army is a volunteer organization that helps provide children in our community with a Christmas that they would otherwise not have. Emily and other volunteers will be working from now until 7 pm tonight, December 14, as well as tomorrow and Thursday. They meet on the east side of The Grace Church on Western and Plains Blvd, Amarillo. She needs people sorting toys and family gifts as well as building the gift boxes for 350 families by tomorrow.
If you can give a few hours of service, please join us and call Emily at 918-407-5700. Thank you and God bless.
