Domingo Antonio Galindo passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the age of 77. Domingo was born in Karnes City Texas on February 23, 1947, to Lionilla Longoria and Caterino Galindo who preceded him in death.

Domingo or “Mingo” as everyone knew him loved life and was a hard worker. He always wanted to be in the middle of everything. When the opportunity presented itself for him and his sons to start a new business, he definitely wanted to be part of it. “Pop” as his sons called him knew no strangers. He would get to know his employees and customers on a personal level. He always wanted to help solve problems or just step in and help finish a project, but if you knew Pop that was just the way he was.

Pop was a man of immense humor. He loved old movies and cartoons so he would repeat parts of movies in his conversation or just throw in a joke for no reason at all. He would also call his children over and over till they answered and just ask, “What are you doing?” He touched many people with his kindness and advice to living life to its fullest, and he definitely left everyone with a different memory of him that they will never forget.

Pop loved his family with all his heart; his loving wife whom he cherished, Dominga Medellin Galindo, preceded him in death. Together they had three children that they left behind Domingo Jr., Berlinda, and Abraham, and a grandson, Corey. He is also survived by his two brothers Rogelio (Roy), Rudy and a lot of family and friends that will remember him and miss him.

We mourn the loss of our father, brother and friend, but we take comfort knowing he is no longer suffering. Pop may you rest in peace you will always be in our hearts and in our minds. You are one of a kind and you will be greatly missed.

The family invites you to join them for a viewing/visitation to be held from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas.
