Dominic Ricardo Escalante

Dominic Ricardo Escalante, age 46, passed away on June 6, 2026. He was born on May 22, 1980, in Amarillo, Texas.

Dominic was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. He will be remembered for his caring heart, his sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Dominic had a passion for working on muscle cars and took great pride in bringing them to life. He enjoyed listening to music, whether relaxing at home or spending time with friends and family. Above all else, Dominic cherished the time he spent with his loved ones. His family was the center of his world, and some of his happiest moments were those shared with his children, grandchildren, and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Escalante Jr.

Survivors include his children, Natalie Olvera and husband Javier Olvera, along with their children, Santiago and Milliana; Dominique Escalante, and Adrien Escalante. He is also survived by his mother, Veronica Escalante; his brothers, Josh Escalante and wife Erika Escalante, along with their children, Hennicie Gutierrez and husband Joey Gutierrez, and Anthony Escalante; and John Escalante and wife Grace Escalante, along with their children Ceasar Escalante and wife Alyssa Escalante, and Emilia Escalante.

Dominic’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the love he shared with those around him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the memories they shared and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

A funeral service celebrating Dominic’s life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10 A.M. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Avenue, Amarillo, Texas, 79102. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory and pay their respects.
