It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Joseph Fuller, who departed this life on May 8, 2026, just days shy of his 76th birthday. Born on May 17, 1950, Don lived a fulfilled life marked by devotion to his family, passion for his career, and love for his recreational interests.
Don’s zeal and dedication transformed him into a pivotal figure in advancing the masa production industry, an accomplishment he held closely. Despite his busy schedule, he was an avid golfer, loved fishing, and could often be found cheering on his favorite sports teams on TV. Don had a fondness for the cinematic comedy, with “Christmas Vacation” topping his list of favorite movies.
A laid-back, kind-hearted, hardworking, and funny man, Don loved a good joke and blessed those around him with his unique charm.
Beyond the walls of his job, vacations in Red River, New Mexico, were his favorite, where he appreciated the beauty of Mother Nature and catching trout. Yet, nothing matched the joy he found in the company of his loved ones. Family meant everything to Don.
He was preceded by his sister, Dianne Hanson, and his parents, Malcolm and Alethea Fuller.
Don leaves behind an enduring legacy through his wife, Deborah Fuller, his sons, Jarrod and Garron Fuller, his daughter, Brynne Diaz, and her husband Ian, and his cherished grandchildren, Conlin Diaz and Aila Fuller. All will profoundly miss his lively spirit and loving presence.
A Celebration of Life for Don will be held on May 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave. This gathering will be a testament to Donald’s vibrant and enriching life, where we will share memories, stories, and the hearty laughs Don so loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Donald’s life be made through this link: https://everloved.com/life-of/donald-fuller/donate/.
While the gap Donald’s departure leaves is immense, his memory will forever live in our hearts. We take solace in remembering the remarkable man Donald was – a beacon of love, laughter, and wisdom.

“Don was the last to pass away of my First Cousins – only 6 weeks older than me…..even tho we grew up with him in Calif. & myself in Oklahoma & Illinois, our families would get together every year somewhere…..always enjoyed our time together with the only cousin that was near my age. In recent years we always tried to stop in the Amarillo area each year on our way to the Southwest to catch up with Don & his family….we will miss him dearly. Our sincere condolences to his family.”
