Epefania “Fanny” Castellon

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Fanny Castellon, a beloved mother, sister, cousin, and friend, who left us on December 28, 2025, born to the late Cruz Louis “CL” Castellon and Maria Castellon on July 24, 1963, in Tulia, Texas.

For over 30 years, Fanny resided in Happy, Texas, where she found joy in her work at In His Hands.

Fanny was preceded in death by her father, Cruz Louis Castellon, and her sister Irene Mings.

She is survived by her mother, Maria Castellon; her son, Joshua Castellon, and his wife, Isabella; her siblings: brother David Castellon and his wife, Emma; sister Patricia Crabtree and her husband, Cory; sister Christina Diller and her husband, Phillip; and brother-in-law Charles Mings. Fanny also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, David Jr. and his wife, Paige; Anna Watson and her husband, Nick; Timothy Mings and his wife, Amber; Kenneth Diller and his wife, Kiara; Joshua Mings; Bella Mings; Averee Watson; Leighton Castellon; and Cataleya Diller.

Funeral Mass will be held January 10 at 1:30 PM at Holy Name of Jesus, located at 317 W Main, Happy, TX 79042, honoring the vibrant life of Fanny. Rosary will be at 1pm right before the Mass. Let us come together to commemorate her remarkable life and the joyous moments we shared. Following the service, a small gathering will take place in the hall.
